The Ministry of Home Affairs has launched a number of services in the green and orange areas, allowing e-commerce players such as Amazon and Flipkart to offer non-essential delivery in areas that are not infected with any or all of the coronaviruses. Because it has extended the nationwide lockout for another two weeks. May 17.

A May 1 note said the government would rely primarily on coronavirus infection statistics to classify the red, green and orange zones.

"The classification of districts as red zones will take into account the total number of active cases, the double rate of confirmed cases, the extent of testing and monitoring response from the district," the notification said.

In addition to online delivery, the government has also opened cab aggregator services in the orange and green zones.

In the Orange Zone, taxi and cab aggregators with only one driver and one passenger will be allowed, in addition to the activities permitted in the Red Zones.

Many metros like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad have been declared red zones. This means that ecommerce companies can't go back to normal and these cities drive the most traffic.
